GUIDED VISITS

About the program for the education to the knowledge of the cultural patrimony, the Museum offers guided visits for single visitors, for schools and for groups.
For information call the +39 80 8917297, from the 08:30 at 12:30 o'clock; from the 4:30 p.m. at 7:30 p.m. o'clock.
The Museum, nevertheless, is endowed with exhaustive explanations and illustrative panels in every room.

DIDACTIC WORKSHOPS

The workshops are conceived for the primary and intermediate schools.

December 2005. "NATALE CON I TUOI" ("CHRISTMAS WITH YOUR FAMILY") SECOND EDITION
The workshop consists in the realization of the cartellate, typical sweets of the culinary tradition of Sammichele, with the purpose to know the productive cycles of the raw materials and recapture of the Christmas festivity as time that he saw to comparison the generations.

June-July 2005. "TO EXPERIMENT WITH THE CLAY AND OTHER… "
The summer workshop has the intent to furnish to the children and the boys in school age a guided run that engage them in workshop activities of manipulation to freely approach them to the language of the art and to strengthen the innate inherent creative abilities in each of them.
It is a run that goes from the realization of vases (following the techniques of modeling of the clay, the morphology and the decoration in prehistoric age) to pass to the tile (to experiment the reproduction in series, with the use of a plaster mould) and to end with the realization of manufactured articles freely created.

June-July 2005. "THE ART OF KNITTING AND OF EMBROIDERY"
The summer workshop has the intent to furnish to his/her children and the boys in school age a guided run that engage them in workshop activities to learn the rudiments of the embroidery and to learn the popular art of the knitting, ancient and typical of the country civilization as that of the embroidery.
It articulates in two moments during which will be furnished some rudiments on the art of embroidery (cross-stitch) and the indications on the techniques of execution of the knitwear and the application of the embroidery on it.
The children and the boys have the opportunity of realizing some manufactured articles of various nature, freely, strengthening her innate inherent creative abilities in each of them.

ACTIVITIES

September 2004. "EXTEMPORANEOUS OF PAINTING AND GRAPHIC ARTS. WE TELL THE MUSEUM. 1ST EDITION "
Contest opened to children from eight to thirteen years old separated in two categories, that it proposes him to favor the knowledge of the country culture among the boys, through the guided visit to the museum and the realization of pictorial works with the amplest liberty of style and technique.
